Aaron C. Johnson purchased his home place in
Allamakee County.

G. Page 47).
He filed for record December 30, 1858 (Book G, Page 50).
Amos & Alice Cole of Middlebury, Addison
county, Vermont sold to Aaron C. Johnson of
Union Prairie, Allamakee Co., Iowa
November 15, 1853, in consideration of the sum of
Five Hundred and Forty Dollars in hand paid, I Amos Cole do sell
to Aaron C. Johnson the following described premises to wit:
The west half of the SE quarter of section 12 and the NE quarter
of the SE quarter of section 12 in township 98 N. of range 6
west. Recorded November 20, 1857 in Allamakee County, Iowa.
