Friederika Minnie Hechler

Friederika Minnie Hechler married Karl Vieth in Germany. He died at sea. She later remarried Albert Kohring in Germany. Friederika lived with her daughter Martha and son-in-law John Schellhammer for nine months prior to her death.

Friederika was born September 7, 1881 in Germany and died January 30, 1948 in Winneshiek County, Iowa. Interment at Oakland Cemetery, Waukon was on February 2, 1948.

Martha Frieda Vieth  

Martha was the daughter of Karl and Friederika Vieth. This picture was taken when Martha was 18 and a hausfrau
in Germany. She immigrated to America at age 19 (1924)
with her sister Sophie Vieth. Martha married John Schellhammer May 5, 1925.
