Dale Woodmansee performed a wonderful service in surveying all the tombstones in the cemeteries in Allamakee county and publishing the data; but with any undertaking of this magnitude, there likely are errors, conflicting information or descrepancies. User-contributed information has been added on the Woodmansee Notes pages.

The original Woodmansee table of contents has been updated to include all alternative cemetery names mentioned in the book. Not all appeared in the original TOC. Cemetery names commonly used since the book was written have also been added to this on-line version. If you know of another name for one of these cemeteries & it is not in this listing, please email the Allamakee co. coordinator so it can be added.
