I,
Michael Waters of Union City Township Allamakee County
State of Iowa, make this my last will.
I
give devise bequeath my estate and property Real and
Personal as follows that is to say,
I
devise and bequeath all of my property both personal and
real, chattale moneys and credits to my beloved wife Nora
E. Waters with the exceptions hereinafter mentioned.
I order and direct that all my just debts be paid with
convenient speed,
I give unto James O'Regan one hundred dollars,
I also give unto my sister Mrs. Mary O'Regan one hundred
dollars,
I also give unto Dennis Crowley one hundred dollars,
I also give to Rev. F. McCullough one hundred dollars,
I also give Simon Medicus fifty dollars.
It is my will and I order and direct that a monument be
erected At the grave of my former wife Hannah Waters like
the one at my Fathers grave.
I appoint my beloved wife Nora E. Waters of Union city
Township Allamakee county execution of this my will in
witness whereof I have signed and sealed and published
and declared this instrument as my will at my residence
in Union City Township, Allamakee County Iowa this 15th
day of September 1894

The
said Michael Waters of Union City Township Allamakee
County Iowa on this 15th day of September 1894. Signed
and sealed this instrument and published and declared the
same as and for his last will and we at his request and
in his presence and in the presence of each other have
hereunto written over
names as subscribing witnesses

In the District Court of Iowa, in and for Allamakee
County H. G. Fisher, Clerk of the aforesaid Court do
hereby certify that on the 12th day of November A.D.
1894, the foregoing instrument was by the said court duly
allowed and admitted to probate as the last Will and
Testament of Michael Waters, deceased, late of aforesaid
County and State, its execution as such being at that
time duly proven according to law
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the Seal of said Court of Waukon, Iowa, this
December 1894.
