French Creek schoolchildren, 1911

Back of photo reads:

To Earl Hahn with best wishes from his teacher, Anna E. Young. March 10, 1911

~Contributers note: I'm not sure who is who in this photo, and most of the children aren't named, but somewhere in the photo are Earl Hahn and Lee Hahn, sons of John & Margaret (Schaffer) Hahn, and Bessie Smith, daughter of Fred & Elizabeth (Hahn) Smith.  Also in the photo is the above named teacher.   Other families living in the area at the time, according to census records, and having school aged children were Bublitz, Beardmore, May, Leppert, Vincent, Resebeck, Casey & Frank.  I would imagine some of these children are in the photo as well.
