-contributor notes: The (original) class photos are at the Allamakee county historical society. I can identify two individuals in the senior class photo: my grandparents James Ryan and Charlotte Barthell. There is another relative in the class, Clare Barthell, as well as a "relative-in-law" Gertrude Stilwell, but I have no idea where they are seated in the photo.
-the graduation photos of my grandmother Charlotte Barthell, and the other of the girl at the far right of the class of 1918 photo were shared with me by Mr. John Dickson.

-update, August 25, 2007 from Lori Mayer of St. Ansgar, Iowa: "I recognize my Grandma, Marie Denning Hansen on this photo. She is the young lady sitting on the far right in the bottom row." and "I checked with my Uncle Duane. He said the photo of the young lady graduate with the rose is definitely not my Grandmother, Marie Denning Hansen."
