Driftless Area Scenic Byway
If you have planned some free-time to explore the area, consider taking all or part of the "Driftless Area Scenic Byway". The well-marked route uses Hwy. B-38, a series of unpaved roads along the Yellow River and Old Sixteen Road from Postville to Hwy. 76. The next leg is from Hwy. 76 and Hwy. B-25 to Harpers Ferry, then Hwy. X-52 and Hwy. A-52 to Waukon. From there, the route follows Hwy. 9 to Lansing, catches Hwy. 26 to New Albin, then Hwy. A-26 along the Upper Iowa River to Hwy. 76. This rustic road scenic byway
isn't only for motorists, you can ride a bike or hike as well.

The Great River Road
One very scenic drive is from Lansing to Harpers ferry thru Wexford on the Great River road. Nice cemetery there and passenger lists of the people who traveled with Father Hore from Ireland.
