Children of Johan Friederich "Christian" and Anna (Kliefoth) Ihde

In the back: "Mina" Wilhelmine Sophia Maria Ihde, born August 14, 1876 in Clayton County, IA.  She married August Huckstadt.  

Left to right in the middle row: 
Fritz Johan Carl "Fred" Ihde, born December 15, 1882 in Read Township, Clayton Co. IA.  He married Lena Anna Wilhelmina Meyer/Meier.  (Lena is the grandmother to Lois Cypert who is on the Clayton co. surname registry for Meyer and Ihde.  Lena was my grandmother, Elsa Frederike Carolina Meyer/Meier's, sister)  

August Heinrich J. Ihde, born October 11, 1877, Clayton County, IA.  He married an Ida Glister.

Johan Friederich Herman Ihde, born July 4, 1879 Clayton County, IA.  He married Bertha Sophia Louise Meyer/Meier.  Bertha was the sister of Lena who married Fred Ihde and is my grandmother Elsa's sister.   

In the front: Sophia Wilhelmine Margarethe Ihde, born July 7, 1881, Clayton County, IA.  She married Fred Hoffman.  

Family Notes

Anna Kliefoth Ihde divorced her husband, Johann Friederich "Christian" Ihde sometime after 1882 and married Frederick Meyer.  Frederick Meyer was b. 1835 in Eldena, Mecklenburg, Germany.  He is the uncle of Lena, Bertha & Elsa Meyer/Meier.  He is a brother to their father, Johan Heinrich Christian "Carl" Meyer/Meier who was married to Marie Charlotte Wilhelmine "Elisabeth" Wille and lived near Clayton Center, IA from about 1873 'til 1892. As you can see it was quite a web they wove in those days too!
