| Dr. Francis J. (Frank) Kriebs spent 63
years as a country doctor in the Garber/Elkport area and
was one of a kind. He delivered my mother (August 18,
1911) and was a life long friend. He was very influencial
is her attending the School of Nursing at the University
of Iowa and received her "Certificate of
Nursing" in 1932. I remember Dr. Kriebs from my
early youth. I can still see his home/office in Elkport,
almost across the street from the Elkport School. I'd
like to honor Dr. Kriebs on this website, by sharing
