1865. Date of death is unknown. Possibly a resident of
South Dakota and Minnesota. (Postville Iowa, Yankton and

the USA in 1865. Died March 18, 1903 in Postville, Iowa.

Spoo on February 16, 1886. Children were Ida (1889),
William 1892) and Michael (1903).
August W. Thiese-born December 21, 1867 in Jefferson
township, Clayton county, city of Guttenberg, Iowa. He
was first child born in Iowa. His mother was Williams
first wife. Information on her is still unknown. She dies
circa 1868 in Iowa. August marries Dorothea Ryberg in
Oelwein Iowa in 1890. They have 8 children. Stella
(1891), Eldo (1893), Laura (1896), Dorothy (1899), Esther
(1902), Ruth (1905), Wilfred (1907), and Leonard (1910).
He died February 14, 1950 in Flint, Michigan. He is
burred in Alexandria, South Dakota.
