1959 SERVICE NEWSMcGregor -- Pvt. William Pilkington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Pilkington of McGregor, has arrived with his army unit in Korea.
McGregor -- Army Pfc. James R. Kluesner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cyril J. Kluesner of McGregor, has qualified as an expert in firing the automatic rifle. Private Kluesner is a machine gunner in Company A of 24th Division, 34th Infantry, serving in Germany. A graduate of Monona-Farmersburg High School, he entered the army last March.
Marquette -- Sp. 4 Charles DuCahrme, who recently visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irving DuCahrme of Marquette, has returned to Ft. Riley, Kansas, where he is stationed.
